< 2 of 7 >

Berry-Hill Galleries is pleased to present this major exhibition of works by Frederic Edwin Church. Frederic Edwin Church is the most famous and distinguished American landscape painter of the nineteenth century, and the foremost member of the second generation of the Hudson River School. Berry-Hill's exhibition commemorates the centenary of the artist's death and the memorial exhibition held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1900, and is the first major Church exhibition in New York since the National Collection of Fine Art's traveling show 35 years ago. Following its venue at Berry-Hill Galleries the show will travel to The Terra Museum of American Art in Chicago, The Portland Art Museum, Oregon and The Portland Museum of Art, Maine. More...
