This was the first Old Master exhibition at Berry-Hill Galleries and brought together Italian paintings by both the giants in the history of art and little known masters. The themes of the show, the Sacred and the Sensual, are two characteristic attributes of Italian painting of the Renaissance and Baroque eras and are present to varying degrees in all works of the period.
